User Research
Written by Sabina RamseyBy focusing on your customer abilities, needs and desires, our research and process-oriented methods will help you put the emphasisis on the people you serve.
Insight uses proven research methods to uncover insights about your users and how they interact with your website, software or product. In the initial discovery phase, we observe, listen, and learn. Our work will provide you with insights about your users that is not possible to obtain in a test environment.
We use a range of methods when conducting user research:
Ethnographic research
Insight observes users as they perform tasks in natural settings, away from the artificial environments of test labs. Ethnographic research is ideal for understanding how people use everyday products, their desktop computers or mobile phones in their natural environment.
On-site and Off-site interviews
Through interaction and user guided questions, Insight can help you gain a greater understanding of the user’s experience with your product, website or service. It can also be valuable to present representatives from your target audience with user scenarios before the start of a marketing effort or design of a website.
Focus groups
Focus groups are moderator-lead discussions pertaining to users jobs, tasks, or experience with a service or application.
Online surveys
Insight plans, designs, reqruits respondents and analyzes online surveys.
